New website features links to social networking sites.

CHATSWORTH, CA / April 1, 2011 – 3DS Users Group, an organization for owners and operators of 3D Systems, Objet Geometries and Electro Optical Systems equipment, today announced the launch of its redesigned website. The new site can be viewed at www.3dsug.org.

“This website is an integral part of communicating our organization’s mission and vision,” said 3DSUG chairman Tim Gornet.

The site has undergone significant improvement in the areas of content, navigation and design. Notable changes include increased information about equipment manufacturers, 3DSUG vendors and 3DSUG sponsors. The new site also includes many visible links to 3DSUG social networks:

The web blog makes it easier to find industry news and additional technical content. For example, the blog’s search feature allows visitors to search the entire site using key words such as “tutorial”, “3D printing” and many other industry terms.
